About Us
Lakkam Valleshwar Reddy, a highly educated MBA graduate with experience as an Account Manager for a leading multinational company in Dubai, made a life-changing decision. He planned to return to India due to his wife’s pregnancy and the birth of their two beautiful children. As a doting father, he wanted to ensure that his kids received the best nutrition possible, especially in the form of high-quality milk.
However, upon his return to India, L V Reddy was disheartened to discover that the milk available in his surroundings was of poor quality, with many vendors selling watered-down milk. This saddened him, and he realized that he had to do something about it. In 2016, he took the initiative and founded L V Reddy Dairy Farms with the vision of providing society with natural, high-quality milk.
Right from the beginning, L V Reddy focused on maintaining the utmost quality in his dairy farm. He implemented best practices in buffalo management, nutrition, and hygiene to ensure that his buffaloes produced milk of the highest standards. He personally supervised every aspect of the dairy farm, from the selection of buffalo breeds to the processing and packaging of milk. His dedication and commitment to quality soon gained him a reputation as a trusted provider of premium milk in the region.
However, due to the high costs involved in maintaining such high-quality standards, the price of our milk was higher compared to regular market milk. Despite the market challenges caused by this price difference, I was determined to continue delivering quality milk to the common man. I strongly believed that everyone deserves access to safe and nutritious milk—especially growing children.
Over the years, I persevered and worked tirelessly to reduce costs without compromising on quality. I explored various strategies such as optimizing feed costs, improving buffalo comfort, and investing in modern dairy technologies. It took me nearly seven years to gain full control over managing the dairy farm efficiently and sustainably.
Today, LV Reddy Dairy Farms has the capacity to produce over 1,000 liters of high-quality milk every day. My commitment to quality and passion for providing nutritious milk to homes across South India has earned us a loyal customer base. Families who have consumed milk from LV Reddy Dairy Farms continue to trust the quality, purity, and reliability of our products.

L V Reddy’s journey has been challenging, but he has always remained steadfast in his vision to bring quality milk products to every home in South India. His passion for providing natural, high-quality milk to society has made L V Reddy Dairy Farms a respected name in the dairy industry. With a strong foundation built on years of hard work, dedication, and a commitment to excellence, L V Reddy continues to strive towards his goal of making quality milk accessible to all.
Buffalo ghee, known for its distinct flavor and rich texture, holds a special place in Indian cuisine. At L V Reddy dairy farm, we uphold the esteemed Vedic Bolona method to create this exquisite ghee using the milk of our cherished buffaloes.
The Vedic Bolona method, rooted in ancient Indian practices, pays homage to the wisdom of our ancestors. It begins with the careful selection of the finest buffalo milk, sourced from our well-cared-for and healthy buffaloes. We prioritize their welfare, ensuring they are nurtured and provided with a conducive environment.

The buffalo milk, known for its high-fat content, is gently heated in large copper vessels. The copper vessels, revered for their heat conductivity, facilitate even heating and aid in preserving the nutritional properties of the milk. This slow and gentle heating allows the milk to naturally evaporate, reducing excess moisture and concentrating the cream.
As the milk reaches the desired temperature, it naturally separates into cream and protein-rich buttermilk. The cream, commonly referred to as “malai,” is meticulously collected and transferred to a traditional clay pot called a “bolona.”
The bolona, an integral component of the Vedic Bolona method, plays a vital role in the ghee-making process. Crafted from clay, it imparts a unique flavor to the ghee while maintaining an optimal temperature during the churning process. The bolona is swung rhythmically, creating a gentle motion that agitates the cream.
With each swing of the bolona, the cream undergoes a remarkable transformation. Over time, the fat molecules in the cream bind together, forming butter. This process, known as churning, demands skilled hands and a deep understanding of the technique.
Once the butter has completely separated, it is meticulously removed from the bolona. The butter is then subjected to a slow heating process in large vessels. As it melts, the butter undergoes a gradual metamorphosis, developing a deep, nutty aroma and a rich, golden hue. The ghee-making process concludes when the butter is carefully strained to remove any impurities, leaving behind pure buffalo ghee.
At L V Reddy dairy farm, we hold the Vedic Bolona method in high regard, striving to preserve the time-honored traditions and wisdom of our ancestors. With each batch of buffalo ghee produced, we endeavor to maintain the purity, authenticity, and remarkable flavor that make Vedic Bolona buffalo ghee truly exceptional.
